Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a cosmetic dental procedure in which a composite resin material is used to improve the appearance of a person’s teeth. It can be used to correct small imperfections, such as chips, cracks, stains, gaps, and discoloured teeth.

The procedure involves applying a mild gel solution to the affected tooth, followed by the application of the resin, which is sculpted and shaped to match the natural teeth. The resin is then hardened using a blue LED light and polished to give it a natural lustre. The procedure is usually completed in one or two visits to the dental office and can be used to achieve a full smile makeover or to make minor corrections.
